The government bank, BanReservas has announced that it will not apply the recently approved 1% charge on dollar purchases made by cardholders issued by Dominican banks. Banco de Reservas administrator Enrique Ramirez said that it is up to each bank to decide whether or not to apply the charge, as reported in El Dia.
