The Dominican children’s play, “Yo soy Maria Monito” is being staged at the Sala Ravelo of the National Theater in Santo Domingo with a recreation of children tales. The play that includes a puppet show, drama, songs and storytelling on stage is taking place 26 November to 1 December as of 5pm.

The Biennial of Drawing is taking place at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Santo Domingo. This time it is a tribute to Dominican painter Clara Ledesma at the Galeria Nacional. The jury is made up of Danilo de los Santos, Sarah Hermann and Fernando Pena Defillo.

In his third performance, the popular Big Band Nunez show is back at Teatro La Fiesta at the Jaragua Hotel in Santo Domingo with big band style music played with very Dominican and Pavel Nunez touches. Telling the story of the Big Band Nunez recently won an Emmy in Florida. Tickets are RD$1,000-RD$2,500.
