Migration orders all foreign residents to get their cedulas

As of 15 March 2022, the Migration Agency (DGM) has ordered all foreigners, 18 years of age or older, to have a personal identification card, known as the “cédula.” The obvious exceptions are diplomats, consular officials and tourists.
