Minister of Tourism Ramon Alfredo Bordas forecasts a 25% increase in British tourism this summer. He said some 20,000 more British tourists are expected to visit this year than last year. Puerto Plata and San Pedro de Macoris (Juan Dolio) destinations will benefit most. Last year, 90,000 British tourists visited. (31 May 2001)
