Good morning everyone, we are now up to $874.69 and so close to $1,000 that it has become our "goal". All money donated goes to sending kids to school that couldn't otherwise afford to go and to feeding, spaying & neutering the unfortunate street dogs of Sosua. We are closing the online "voting" on Friday at midnight however you can still make donations after this time without a vote. Follow one of the links below to make your vote now...

Although we have reached our goal of $1,000.00, since NO is still ahead we have nothing to donate to ?Locks of Love?. We only have until tomorrow at midnight before the online voting is closed.
One of the best-known charities for hair donation is Locks of Love. This non profit organization provides hair prosthesis to disadvantaged children age 18 and younger. They are not affiliated with any hair care company or hair products manufacturer.
According to the organization?s website, new hair pieces can cost between $3,500 and $6,000. To families whose finances are already devastated paying for the cost of cancer treatment; these prices may be out of range. Locks of Love provides hair pieces for children at no cost to the child.

Please continue to donate and help us provide hair to Locks of Love to benefit a child with cancer.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who have reached into their pockets to donate to those less fortunate, especially in these tough economic times.

Just In Case

It is raining now, Thursday night.
If it is raining all Saturday morning, and we get rained out,
Plan B is to play Sunday at same time, same place, etc.
Plan C is to play a week later, on Saturday.
Weather...............who knows.
But just a little rain won't stop us as planned.
Stay tuned..........and get up early Saturday to
see what's up.
Right now, we plan to play as scheduled.

WOW!!! This morning we thought that Sandi might just have to keep her hair....but now it looks like she really could end up bald! "YES" has now...just barely...squeaked into the lead!

The race is SO close right now.....the difference is only a few dollars! Whether you want to see her bald or not....NOW is the time to voice your opinion! There is only 24 1/2 hours left to have your say. Online voting closes at Midnight, Friday, August 14!

Please help us raise money for these great causes! :)

Just a simple question Tom, would the "Callaway FT 15 degree 3 Wood with Fujikura regular flex graphite shaft" be suitable for bashing ignorant motoconcho drivers?

Have a wonderful day, all of you! :) tflea, did you really mean it about fancy dress? Because I've just seen my other half poncing around in the weirdest garb and I'm assuming he's having a dress rehearsal & not developing some affliction I wasn't aware of.............:cheeky:

I find the stiff flex works better on the motoconcho's - they are a bit hard headed and the reg flex just seems to have a little to much give to do the job properly!!! Tom

We'll see in a couple of hours.

Well, I DID turn up with the Gold Larme outfit (plus fours with complimenting waistcoat & cumberband) but no-one else seemed to have brought theirs! Being a shy & retiring sort of person, I decided NOT to 'come out' at such an auspicious occasion! :cheeky: :pirate: :chinese: Maybe NEXT year if Pete Rendick keeps his promise to me that he will wear a matching PINK outfit!!!

It would appear from the dirth of comment about yesterday's very pleasurable & rewarding (for the charities involved) festivities, that the 'festivities' obviously continued well into the night over at the 'Jolly Roger' & as a result most participants are 'sleeping it off' today. May I take the opportunity in making a big PUBLIC 'THANK YOU' to all those who were involved with yesterday's outing. The organising committee of the Tournament, the multitudes of helpers, the donors of prizes & financial donations * of course .... the girls of the drinks carts (even that one that had a moustache!!).

To ONE & ALL, we the participants, thank you for enjoying YOUR selves so much & for the HARD work you put in to the day!! ~ Grahame.

Fabulous event!!!

Congratulations to the organizing committee, thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The weather was spectacular and everyone had a great time, despite some
interesting swings and shots. I have video proof!

I'm not sure of the final $$$ raised, but Sandi pulled in around US$2,300 in donations for her head shaving :)

Photos and video in the next day or two.

Over 191,000 Pesos Raised

I would just like to THANK all of the sponsors, players, helpers and Sandi for making the Second Annual North Coast Charity Classic an outstanding success. In total we raised over 191,000 pesos for AAAS (friend of the animals Sosua) and Sosua Kids. :):)

It was a great day of fun. I am already looking forward to next years event. Again thanks to all that participated and helped out. Tom
