To use the "Hlywud method", the site needs to host the picture as an image (not 100% sure of what that means)

I use www.tinypic.com for hosting.

Ever since the upgrade, there is an "x" followed by "View Post" in the quote box.

Does anyone know if there supposed to be an icon where the 'x' is (see below, to the left of "View Post")?

I've noticed that too. I Imagine it would lead you to the whole original post if it was working

You're right, clicking the 'x' does take you back to the original post. I was just wondering if there is supposed to be an icon in place of the 'x', and it's just not loading correctly with my browser.

Hit Quote button then hi-lite text and copy (ctrl C)

Return to Post Reply then paste (ctrl V) in text box

Don't be so hard on yourself ... leave that for us to determine :)

You need to be in the advanced mode not the quickie reply and all the buttons are there. Highlight text then click on color

Not pink my dear ... it's Ferrari Red, a MAN's colour. Use formatting icons above the text box ... hi-lite text, select colour form palette, then bold :)

Am I missing something? Why cut and paste? Why not just click the "Quote" button and type away?

She got the answer for her question, one needs copy & paste if quoting more than one posts .... if her question was how to quote and reply to a post, use Quote button :ermm:

No difference ....

Actually, that wasn't pink it was magenta. :)
How many guys know the difference? ... guys only know black, British racing green, and Ferrari red.

If you do, you may be on the other team .... not that there's anything wrong with the other team, but that other team like colours LOL!!!!

So I guess I got the answer to why I was having trouble with the new post button last night!
Gosh I'll be glad when this election is over and I can get back to my normal routine (and get packing to come home to the DR!).
Son had a candidates debate tonight ans his boys stole the show......Mon made home-made cookies that the boys passed around during the "meet and greet" part of the event and sure garnered a lot of attention for their dad.....
I'll try to post a pic once I've downloaded them from the camera!!
