Coral Hotels

Anyone stayed at either Coral Hamaca or Coral Costa Caribe? We're trying to decide which hotel to go to in DR - I've been to the Hamaca hotel and loved it - hoping that CCC is just as good. Any info would be helpful and appreciated.

All I can say is.......

any of our friends who have stayed at the Coral Costa Caribe have enjoyed their stay. Two couples so much so that they bought time shares in the resort!

Definetely the beach is way better at the Hamaca, the one in Juan Dolio sucks (I know cause I opened that Hotel) but you have a lot of good restaurants and bars in the Juan Dolio area, if you stay at the CCC go to the casino and ask for Mr Antonio Tognarelli, he?ll make sure u have a good fun night, and if in Hamaca ask for Patrick Slezzer(Activities)
But wherever u decide to go, have fun & be positive.

Coral Hamaca

I can't say the one in Juan Dolio is not good because I haven't been to that one, but I just recently came back from vacation like a month ago and my husband and I stayed at the Coral Hamaca. Very nice hotel. The beach is very nice, the food is great, especially at the Italian Restaurant they have and overall it was a really good experience.

But I hear that Coral Hotels are very good overall.

Whatever you pick, hope you have fun.

I worked at both hotels and for vacation I would definitly prefer the Hamaca. It is much nicer, the beach area is great, also the teatro/shows.

I would love to go there now...sigh...
