OK... saying you go to Hooters for the food, is EXACTLY the same as saying you read Playboy for the ARTICLES... LOL OK... yea, we read the articles TOO... but............ ??????? LOL

The one thing that big chains have going for them, (usually), is consistency. My local bar/restaurant/pizza place does pretty good wings most of the time... VERY good wings sometimes... and occasionally really bad wings once in a while. It's like Forrest Gump said "ya' never know what'cher gonna' get". Then again, I'm going for the beer anyway. LOL

i am old. i remember the first hooters
That was in Clearwater, my virtual back yard in Tampa Bay.

For several years, my company took care of the "original" Hooters guy's airplane...until they bought a 737 to shuttle customers to the Hooters Casino. We didn't have the space for that big of a plane (since gone...)

FWIW: the original Hooters guys are NOT the ones who franchise Hooters. They sold licensing rights because they knew they didn't have the business horsepower to do it themselves. BUT they syill own the first Hooters store on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater FL...

I like their food, especially their wings. I make my wings with almost the same recipe as theirs. Almost.
