That exchange, if accurate, reflects a truly sad state of affairs in the DR.

Respectfully,
Playacaribe2

And that's because the DR is the single and only place exchanges like these happen? That's including the developed world as well!

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Playadorada, the only positive thing you have ever said about the DR is the weather and not much else...

Pichardo:

You are so predictable. Color and bolden, then deflect and attack the poster.....classic Pichardo. The only thing missing is one of your photos.

I just don't take BS and smile when people think they know best!

Having not only lived, visited, learned and appreciated plenty of countries around the world, I can for sure know where the DR stands today in reference to it all and where it needs not go.

You may get away talking to some farmer that has never taken a step away from his farm, province or dared at least venture into the territorial waters of the country, but don't come to me and plenty of other Dominicans with your pie full of sh*t of the superior countries and self acknowledged intelligence compared to us campesinos...

Deflecting is what you do when you wish to compare the DR to your first world police and tax to death states when it fits your bill and yet, for all you have back there here you are!

Robert et all can talk all you want about the ball, deflection and all that other blah, blah, blah, but in keeping with your view of the DR and world I ask:

If this is the country in your eyes that this individual portraits in his packaged site, what exactly are you doing in such sh*t hole? Were you not cut up enough to deal with the sh*t in your righteous, well organized and free from all wrong doing country?

Spare me the chit-chat on what's apathetic of the DR people and take a look in the mirror before you come pointing fingers and name calling to the Dominicans in general.

I for one have never once denied the corruption in our country, nor the criminal element that lurks in all places. But I'll never allow myself to be belittled by a bunch of malcontents that have issues with what they have not to put with in their own first world nations back home. This is the Dominican Republic, not the UK, USA, CANADA, FRANCE or Danish soil, but the DR!

Just be glad that in this sh*t hole as you seem to agree with the other clown from Dominicanwhatchdog, unlike the real corrupted likes of China, Iran, Russia and much of the known world (including some first world countries), making the kinds of accusations many here go out in tirades and little common sense to denigrate and point fingers with little to no evidence of Dominicans and the country, we don't cut your heads off, call the religious mumbo jumbo and sent your behind to rot in jails or face any type of government persecution.

We have to see and read a lot of BS from all places and we debate the issues at hand, with little attacks on the same persons tit for tat. When we call the facts, we're deflecting. When we debunk their bases, we're on denial.

At the end of the Day, we can see that the DR is a country that will keep going and growing against all odds and enemies.

In any country there is corruption.
In the so called banana republics it is a lot more noticeable.
In first world countries corruption is a lot bigger if you would be able to calculate amount of $. But it is better hidden.
Anyway to problem of corruption is getting worse all over the world.

In this case:
"Resistance is futile"

Personally I don't understand why you are wasting your time debating this issue.
It's a lot of **** I won't read again.
