All I can say is it looks like it took alot alot alot of money to open these establishments, they look amazing.
Have to wonder what their retail prices are.......alot alot alot....

How many tens of thousands of Dominicans are going to walk by these windows and think, I will never be able to shop here.....
Built for the chosen few......

Novo Centro is a ghost town. I was in there yesterday and the only one looking at stores. I hope it picks up on the weekends!

Novo Centro is a ghost town. I was in there yesterday and the only one looking at stores. I hope it picks up on the weekends!

Novo Centro took far to long to open their doors, since it remained closed for so long, most people in the city don't even know it's already open for biz. As word goes around and activities with the party zone expand, things will pick up long term.

In the DR a place only needs one or two "in-the-crowd' happening biz to keep them going. Novo will take longer as their client base is centered to cater the middle and upper class alone, you have no biz being any lower economically to be there.

So far the nights seem to be more livelier there than the shopping schedule.

I'll give at least one to two years to make their niche in SD...
