The decline of European flights to Puerto Plata airport
Is more than just the cost of the airport, is more about timing, having only 1 flight a day or a week only tet you have good connection with certain flights departuring few hrs after you land, if you are not lucky to match with connection with this then you will says bad conections. few years ago United only had 1 daily flight into SDQ so conections with them was very hard because of that now they have 3 daily flights and connections are way better as they arrive to Newark from Santo Domingo at 9:24 am, 3:37 pm and 7:37 pm so for sure you have more chances to get better connectios now.
Till now Turism agree with them Winter and extended to Summer. After summer we will know if they stay year round.

Yes, LRM has 2 weekly flights Italy one from Milan and another from Rome and SDQ has 1 weekly flight from Milan, a friend told me that USA has already 50 cases, Im not sure if is true, Press do not tell how many they have. Now Spain also has cases, so keeps counting, we have a lot more flights with USA.

This winter condor will start one flight combinated with SDQ on Sundays to Frankfurt and Wednesday direct non stop to SDQ. After Nov they will flight non stop to SJO and the schedule to SDQ change as they stopped in SDQ.
