whatever party you would prefer to win the elections, surely you must admit there is a big difference between the results of the 'encuestas' and the results of the 'sondeos'.
the 'encuestas' are the numerous numbers of official polls you find in the dailies and are supposed to have some sort of scientific basis.
the 'sondeos' have no scientific basis, but are perhaps more numerous. you can often see examples of these on local telly channels when somebody walks down a street and asks passers by who they would vote for. 'sondeos' are taken everywhere and anywhere.
it seems that the pld are winning all the 'encuestas' (apart from at least three that appeared in 'El Dia' this morning), but i haven't seen or heard of prd losing a single 'sondeo'.
you could argue about the 'demographics', etc.......the capital was mostly white everywhere this week-end (yes there were some pld caravanas with nice purple lights strewn round the vehicles, but they lacked the support that the whites showed for prd). i have to go with the 'sondeos' (people power) rather than the manipulated 'encuestas'.
what do you reckon?... the 'encuestas' or the 'sondeos'?
