I got 33.2 all last weekend from the same guy. some wanted to give 32 or even 31 but I refused and kept going until I got back to 33.2.
Where? I know that in Sosua, negotiating has become common. I was wondering if this is occurring elsewhere?

to the right of Europa the yellow stand next to the scooter rentals. you definitely have to negotitate and know the correct exchange rates. sure losing 10 pesos per $100 isnt that big of a deal but its fun also negotiating and walking away from the ones totally trying to rip you off.

At the risk of not complying with the rules of this thread, let me advise you to never change money in the street.

In Sosua, where you mentioned, always change your money in the place between Eddys sports bar and Pedro Clisante on the same side of the street. You will always get the highest rate in Sosua, never have to negotiate with scammers and never get ripped off.
