scam warning!

last week a (trustable) friend told me she was scamed with fake 2000 peso bills in plaza marti casa de cambio, in second floor of plaza marti, in duarte street zone almost behind gran via. This is not a street scamer I know the place and it seems a respectable agency,

Today, 01 Sept 2006, mid-a.m. at a Sto Dgo casa de cambio, I received RD$ 32.60 for my US$ check.

I have never posted in this thread due to the fact that nobody lives here in El Seybo and there are no tourists. I cash a monthly check at the one exchange establishment in my town and I use this thread to get an idea as to how much I am being robbed, hehehe.

For those that may be interested I am receiving 32.45 per dollar in check form wich is always the same for cash or check here.

This is a little late.

I exchanged dollars @ 32.85 pesos to $1 on Thusrday and Friday September 14 and 15 at Hermanos Cruz in Moca. Yesterday, 09/18, I exchanged a few dollars at 32.6-1 at Asociacion Cibao en Aeropuerto Cibao (STI).
