hurricane season 2017

no Images, only textures with the hoursly update about positioning and Heading and windforce and pressure data.
the Image only changes every 3hrs with the full detailed update.
also the Tracking forecast/Lines are changed only every 3 hrs with the full update.

Hurricane Hugo wlaked straight over as a Cat3 in 1989.
Hurricane George in 1998 came flat through PR from E-W as a Cat2, with the well known straight hit into us some hours later.
in 1999 Hurricane Jose approached as aa Cat1 and passed over the PR Eastern Tip as a Cat3/4 from NE to SW, it was one of the weird tracking Hurricanes.
my personal first encounter with a tropical windy thing been in 1996 Hurricane Hortense.
it walked the Mona Passage from SE to NW scratching over Western PR on the way.
there is no historical data about such hit of such storm, and less nothing as of recent years (hey, it is good that we do not get such data every year newly updated) since the tracking works the way it is calculated todays, with data abotu all the different side factors of surroundin conditions present and predicted as it is done todays.
the Tracking Data Freaks will get a completely new set of Datastuff to feed into Tracking Runs for future Model Runs of Storms.

from 8PM til 9PM it did a 5 degrees turn towards the WEST.
those numbers are Degrees on a Compass.
0/360 Degrees is North.
90 Degrees is East.
180 Degrees is South.
270 Degrees is West.
315 Degrees is a exact NW Tracking.
Punta Cana is located West/270 Degrees of the Puerto Rican Northshores.
just as references, so numbers dont confuse.
sorry if i use them this way, to me they are the same as if someone on a street asks for a direction and you would tell him turn on the next corner to the Right.

But it tells us, because his house would have been better than many, that another island is about to be wiped almost out with devastating consequences, and I do care about the people of Dominica, whoever they are, just like any other Caribbean community.
Politicians are just normal people in these small island communities.

Maria will walk like a drunk over the Islands, they do not walk a straight line, never.
we have to see the over all general Heading.
to do so we need to watch the Heading for many ours to get a real Line to which it will stay close.
anyways,
this may change significantly into any direction.
we keep watching and hope that the focker of a prime minister of Dominica travels as his own pilot in his private plane and goes down over some kinda Shark Alley.

BUT if the ""actual" position shown by Windy is not the real poistion,
then the correct Heading but starting from the wrong location will lead to a completely wrong Destination.
always and only use the NHC Data/DEtails on the NHC Maps with the exact NHC Positions(Long and Lat) at the SAME TIME provided by the NHC.
everything else will bring you just a Puzzle with pieces from different real puzzles, the pieces will not fit.
