Hey Toronto Couple, I got your PM and I replied, I just caught myself up on the posts. How long ago did you book? We booked about 3 weeks or so ago through our travel agent and he told us about the Adult only section and he helped us book it. We paid a lot less then 3000 grand. Oh one tip I found out, if you bring down your own insolated mugs the bartenders will fill them. So in light of that I am bringing my huge 711 mug! Hey Ron have you seen anyone else with their own drink jugs?

Hey

We have a couple of questions about this resort:

Is the mini-bar included in all inclusive or is that extra?

Do we have to book la carte restaurants in advance (More details please)! Also we have had trouble booking the deluxe room with our travel agent (Flight Center), she refuses to believe there is one. Anyone else have this difficulty? so far we have the standard room, should I just call signature and bitch?

How do we go about getting the windsurfing boards?

How did you book the safari outback, was it worth it?

Anyone else going from Feb 10-17th?

You have to book a la carte in advance, but if you get into the adutls only section we have priority booking.

If your travel agent refuses to help, go straight to the manager, you are spending your cold hard cash and you should get what you are paying for.

We have booked the Dolphin swim for the saturday, and I think we are also doing the monster truck safari and maybe the ATV's ( i am so addicted to those things!)

I can't wait !

We will have a terrific time !!! The suites are advertised in the signature travel book 2006-2007, so we asked for it. Don't be afraid to come and have a drink with us old folks, our favourite wedding gift was a margarator, it makes margaritas by the gallon. We've been known to have a bit of fun.

Now snowolf dont be silly, age is only a number! Now this margarator sounds great do u know where who ever gave it to u got it??
See you at HV!

Hey Planner my boyfriend and I spent about 50.00 dollars or so on school supplies so we will have to meet up. I will also try and squeeze a couple novels in the carry on for you and of course the daily newspaper!

My friend bought it at J C Penny, when we went to Vegas to get married.

With the new regulations I believe you will definitely require a passport. The TA was very specific regarding this when we booked. You might want to double check with regards to the 2 pieces of ID.

Good Luck!

First timer to this thread

Hi all, I have been following this thread since nov 06, & fought it was time to ask some questions about HVGB, Planner Hi, Many Many Thanks for all your posting on this thread, & all your visits to HVGB. cannot thank you enough, Am travelling to HVGB on 10 june from uk for 2 weeks, Have booked a Royal Suite, but need to find out if the hotel can change the bed from a kingsize to 2 twin beds as we are a couple of single guys in there late 40's & we really want to share 1 bed, Planner could you please find out if this is possible or would you have the email address for the hotel, To all the rest of you, Thanks also for your comments & reviews, not forgeting the pictures. Planner, Would like to bring stuff for the schools, so any help you can give about what to bring, as I have found out if you contact First Choice & let them know that you want to take items for the schools, they will let you take the extra luggage items for FREE, as long as you let them know before you go & what is the weight of said items, Cant wait to hear from Ron about the Royal Suites & the rest if this vacation.

Does anyone know if in Canada they will let you take extra weight for school supplies? So far we have 1 suitcase full. We have put a challenge to our staff to collect school items. We are getting a little worried we wont have enough room for clothes,
How many suitcases per person? does it make a diffrence for kids?

You are very very welcome. I will find out from the hotel manager who I am scheduled to meet with this week about the beds..... no problem.

NOW as to you being two single late 40's males........... I happen to be a single woman living here..... are you guys good looking???? Can you dance?????

Enough of the matchmaker.....

School supplies: yes some charter complanies will allow extra weight with no cost if you make arrangements in advance and pack them separate from your own stuff! SO ask ahead of time what the proceedure is. We need everything here. Pens, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, chalk, markers, crayons, calculators - simple and solar only - rulers, etc etc. Don't bring paper as it is heavy to pack and takes up a lot of room. We can get that here.

Thanks so much for thinking of the kids.
