Well, you talk about not politicizing your posts but you made clear that we shouldn't be getting data from Fox News. Prior, I asked you politely for a source you recommend. Still waiting for that.Wow. Apparently i have stirred up a hornet's nest by having the audacity to post something that contradicts a dogma of the far right. I am really making every possible attempt to keep these posts non-political, but some of you guys make that a real challenge. This should have nothing to do with politics or whether you consider yourself to be liberal or conservative. It should be about proven facts. When I ask you to provide a credible reference for what you are posting, you cannot offer a single one but instead tell me to go find them myself. You claim that the experts from all over the world who are conducting these studies simply don't have knowledge of the people on this forum to mix the right cocktail of drugs. I am sorry if the most recent studies contradict everything that you and others of your political persuasion have been pushing. But the fact of the matter is that I wish you were right. I really do. I wish that hydroxychloroquine was proving to be effective against Covid-19. That would be fantastic. We all had our hopes up for a while. But unfortunately HCQ has repeatedly been proven to have at best no impact on outcomes, and at worse to have a detrimental impact on outcomes. It's not me who is saying that - it's the scientists and the doctors and epidemiologists. I am aware of all the stuff out there on the internet claiming that HCQ is a wonder drug. And I am also sadly aware of how political this topic has become. But unfortunately seeing it on the internet or in a Youtube video does not make it true. Perhaps I should just remain silent and make no attempt to correct obvious misinformation, but I believe that the purpose of this forum is help keep people informed. I'm sorry if my failure to accept Fox News as an authority suggests bias to you. But I would say the same about CNN or MSNBC or any other news source if they couldn't back it up with credible evidence.
And lastly, in response to your statement I should investigate what South Korean doctors have found, I decided to take to your advice. And here's just one example of what I found. It is typical of everything else I have found.

But let's put this argument to bed. There are those on this forum who believe what you are saying, and there are others who believe what I am saying. I think it is apparent that nothing that either of us post is going to change that. I have said what I wanted to say, so I will not be responding to any further silly arguments on the topic of HCQ. The hope for HCQ is dead, and that fact has been accepted by most reasonable people. The rest of you are free to hang on to your beliefs, however misguided they may be. Stay safe and stay well.
If you had more than five minutes to edit a post perhaps you'd have had time to remove that apostrophe.
Don't forget the fresh ginger! (IMO)What goes around, comes around...... there are no guarantees that the virus will not come from China; but there is a plausible opportunity the virus can come from any one of the Tourists travelling to DR for a week of R&R.
I attended a wedding 13 January and have been sick ever since .... that's the second cold since 27 Dec. 19.
In the past I contacted Dengue while living in Barbados , Chickcongoya (misspelled)here in DR, caught a parasite in India and developed kidney stones from high protein diet in Sub-arctic Canada...... ''Ship Happens''
Back home folks my age are dying from the winter run of viral pneumonia.
So try some rum/honey/hot water and lemon... that will cut the intensity of any affliction.
Thats my opinion anyway.

Any rye?I was at Playero this afternoon at 2pm. Apparently, a lot changed since 8am this morning. No line and gloves were no longer required. Plently of everything when I was there including bleach, water(bought a gallon and the shelves were full), and beef. There was even fresh baked bread, just not as much or as large a selection as pre CV19.
The initial "we're all gonna die" hysteria was similarly not couched in facts.
Very clear to all but the ones guilty of spreading fake news and with the tendency to repeat their same point of view 500 times, that my "we're all going to die" posts as you call them were/are clearly opinion based posts. They were all general in nature even if some did foster a short lived discussion after the initial posting. I posted my opinions and quickly and moved on to another specific facet of the topic. Your lumping a bunch of posts dealing with separate topics together into a single theme sows the singularity of your position.
Doesn't surprise me "Mr. this is jut the flu" that you still can't see the difference between my posts and your agenda based posts dripping with condescension and repeated ad nausea as if sheer repetition would ultimately convince those you were failing to convert to the dark side.
Give it up CB, you've anointed yourself "The in Residence Prophet" on this forum on a mission despite not having a flock or a mount to stand on. Your ability to do this in so many threads at the same time indicates lots of time on your hands and a real desire to influence the minds of others - sure sound like you're trying too hard to compensate for the lack of other meaningful pursuits.

This is about the rash. I just discovered it on-line and if you get it I would go top hospital quickly. The doctor was saying that there are another set of symptoms and I had those. My rash came back a bit today but went mostly. It was really itchy and horrible. I was given a prescription for a lotion but I couldn't get it anywhere and luckily someone found a substitute - Permethrin.
Be careful of the apostrophe, man.Anger comes from fear, H'Ouse.
