You reap what you sow. Lots of examples in every country . People go out and the numbers go up. Holiday gatherings will see new cases within family groups. Some may die, others will feel miserable and others still may experience long term complications. Is a couple slices of turkey and stuffing worth the risk? Say hi to the family in a group call on your phone. Drink your ponce in front of your own Christmas tree. Protect yourself and your family/friends. Limit the amount of money you have to fork over to the healthcare system so it is available for food and other necessities. Choices are a good thing to have but there is always a choice that is worse than the alternative.

My only concern with other people is that they stay away from me. Part of that is achieved by not being where other people are as much as I can tolerate. I dread going into town these days but I get so bored at home that sometimes my decisions to venture out are not the best decisions I can make. More for a change of scenery and something different to do I suppose. When out I usually quickly realize I've made a mistake but I need to eat or get my torn shorts fixed and of course there is the dreaded but necessary haircut. I wish I could say that all of my forays beyond my walls are necessary but they are not and that is on me. As far as I know I am not yet a spreader so I am only contributing to the congestion on the streets, not getting others sick. If I am not more careful that could change. That would probably not go well for me. Thus my decision to stay home as much as I can. I don't need to see anyone in person on Christmas except maybe Santa and those that live with me.

I don't deserve to be attacked Bill. I am just convinced that catching CV19 will be really bad for me and/or my wife. So I do what I can to lessen that risk. You feel differently and that's fine with me as you getting ill doesn't affect me unless you bump into me while contagious.

This thread is a complete waste of time and should be "gonzo" based on that alone, with yellow cards handed out to those behaving like trolls.
