Unfortunately, this virus - and the fact that most of those hospitalized for it are Unvaccinated (despite the post from real clear politics) has once again made life far more dangerous for all of us here in the USA since hospital beds are filling up and others with other ailments are being turned away

It is very hard for many of us to understand those who will not get vaccinated to protect the lives of others if not for themselves.

But clearly we live on different planets.

I have survived many illnesses that are now essentially gone because of vaccines - Whooping Cough, measles, mumps- for instance. I was part of the polio vaccine test group as a child. And am VERY grateful that there is now a new Shingles vaccine as I also had chicken pox.

It is not just one's OWN life that is at stake but the lives of many strangers.

But - of course - there are many who do not give a damn about anyone except themselves.......Do not wear masks.. will not be vaccinated..... do not keep their distance.

Fortunately I am a successful recluse.

I have no friend who has died because of Covid (correct) but I have one friend who died after the jabs and two relatives who developed heart problems from Pfizer poison.

I've been vaccinated and wear masks only when required and then below my nose.
It's Silly, MASKS are useless.
The vaccines you listed worked..mRNA vaccines don't.
Keep falling for the government line - you will make a great zombie.

Our opinions on covid are usually on opposite ends of the spectrum but in this case you have a very valid point. Not only has the flu virtually vanished but so has cancer, heart diesese, all non covid related respiratory illness and most other diseases.

I don't want anyone to put on a tin foil hat and run through the streets but it's kinda strange that covid has killed most other human deficiencies.

Happy New Year to you as well. From day one of the pandemic I always wondered how and why every ailment that affected mankind disappeared because of Covid.
I personally know of at least a dozen people who have died from stage 4 cancer to motorcycle accidents where the autopsy said covid related.
I also understand why lower levels of government lie to the federal government to get funding in this cluster f##k but it does not change my stance on vaccinations.

In the last phase of my life I want to see the rest of the world. If that means a few injections of what the antivaxxers call salt water or placebos so be it. I think the vaccines work. If the antivaxxers truly believe that the vaccines are nothing more than a placebo then why not get it to be free to travel. Kind of a put up or shut up sort of thing.

You haven't been following the thread. We just don't trust mRNA - not that they are harmless water but they are harmful gene-altering drugs with proven heart damaging effects.
I would be the first in line for some vaccine in addition to my Sinovac if I did not want to go out of life early

First ime I heard about that the vaccinated were very vulnarable to the spanish flu was long long time before covid.
Blaming others is not new in this game.

Again as stated in an above comment the young are more affected in societies with a vaccination program for the children.
The vaccinated are more affected by omicron as we see today.
