I suspect these POC are the ones who mistrust everything govt. I also suspect they rarely vote at all.
I know that this strays into US politics and I promise not to spend much time here -
JUST to put out more studies, like I like to do. I will NOT carry on more about US politics.
It was only because there was such a difference in voter affiliation and vaccination status.
There is a difference between racial groups in voting patterns between whites, and minority groups - Blacks and "Hispanics" (a bizarre split..) and now "Asians"
And typically a disparity by age with us elders voting more than the young.
But 2020 was the largest turn out ever in the US - with 68% of percent of registered voters..

..."Turnout showed distinct increases from 2016 among Asian American, Latino or Hispanic, and non-college white voters. Each displayed 2016-to-2020 turnout increases that exceeded 6 points or greater.
The non-college white rise in turnout is especially significant, as this group is linked to voting Republican in presidential elections, including in
2020. This group’s 2020 turnout rate of 64% was its highest since at least 2000, and served to close the gap between their turnout and the traditionally higher turnout of their less Republican-leaning college graduate counterparts (which rose by just 3 points, from 79% to 82%). This rise occurred among both non-college white men and women (Download Table A)."...
Turnout in the 2020 election was exceptionally high, resulting in a victory for Joe Biden. In response, some Republican-controlled state legislatures have enacted measures that would restrict voting in future elections among groups that often vote Democratic.

Voter participation by African Americans - considered to be the "base" of the Democratic Party - appears to hold steady at about 12% of the voters which is proportional to their share of the population..
And "Hispanics" is -IMHO- an absurd grouping as that group divides between GOP and Dems, I think. The Cubans here in FL vote GOP - as did the Puerto Ricans who came here after Hurricane Maria... whereas more settled "urban" Hispanics - Dominicans, Mexican, etc... tend to vote DEM.
What is clear is that the share of white, non-college educated voters is a decreasing group.
(Hence all the efforts by the GOP to restrict voting access)
(For those who agree that he won, of course!)
