I'm glad to see they're doing the maintenance, but when you look at all the maintenance being done, you can see in just how neglected and in how bad a shape the grid is.

I'm glad to see they're doing maintenance too, but I don't understand why they have to plunge us into metaphorical darkness every few days to do so. This doesn't happen in other countries where I have lived.

Power out in Perla Marina at about 13:00 hrs today Monday 4th april on circuit SOSU101.

Anyone else off and is there any info out there about this outage?

Still off in Perla Marina at 17:00 but it appears to be just Perla Marina. encuantro is on and the rest of SOSU101 seems to be on! No information as to what is happening in Perla Marina other than it will be off until about 18:

SOSU101 is offline again. The Edenorte site is hinting that power will be restored at 6:00 pm. No idea how accurate this info may be and no idea if this for maintenance or an actual failure.

I spoke too soon! Went off here at about 1 pm, came on again and went off again after just a few minutes and still off now!

Went to Puerto Plata this morning and returned about an hour ago. Power seemed to be off in Sosua since the traffic lights were not working(Except for the one at Playero they supply with power).

Power outage this morning about 8:30 AM also on CABT102. Edenorte is working on it. It is not maintenance according to Edenorte.

SOSU104 out (downtown Sosua) the area that is supposed to be 24 hour power tourist zone
