Just today a out-of-shape & overweight black American guy, maybe 50 years old, parked in front of Playero in the handicap space while his "girl" went inside. The security guard asked him to leave the handicap space and park in an open regular space behind him.

The American began yelling in English in a very loud voice you could hear inside the store, like he had the right to park there. He shouted at the guard: "Buddy you don't want to mess with me", like he was some tough MMA fighter.
Another guest who thinks he owns the town? Sounds like you are enjoying the Super Bowl weekend in Sousa. LMAO!!!!!

I have been scanning the Dominican news thinking I'd come across another article regarding this incident but I haven't seen blip since day one. Way too much money behind those resorts for some reporter to write about this. Not worth it.

The local Global station in Edmonton did an update this weekend on the victim. He is up and walking, and talking. The doctors are still exploring options to replace the piece of skull that is missing. They say his prognosis is good but recovery will be slow.
The only update on the guy charged is the one Bermudarum posted. I'm sure if you try some of the Halifax NS media there will be more info.
If you go to Global news Edmonton you can probably find the story on his recovery.
I wish the kid well.

If the police use the same tactics on the Nova Scotian that they used on the Pivot Airlines crew, he is in for a rough ride. If he has access to significant financial resources, which I highly doubt, he can grease palms and shorten his stay, otherwise, the DR justice system will bounce him around like a cue ball. A lot of Canadians were sympathetic to the plight of the Pivot Airlines crew. I don’t think many Canadians will sympathize with this guy, and rightfully so.

I wish him well too. He has youth on his side and quite a story to tell his friends.

A piece of his skull can be made with 3D printing. A friend of mine got in a bad motorcycle accident. They had to remove a part of his skull to relieve the swelling. Months later they created a new piece to replace it.

Yes. That was mentioned in one of the news articles after his mother and the flight paramedics discovered a section was missing. His skull would be fitted with a 3D generated piece. The old days of metal plates are gone. I’ve met a few guys that joked about having a plate in their head.

Polypropylene and titanium inside me. Never been a problem.
