Ridiculous. There are tons of security as the Hard Rock and Occidental in addition to the Riu all have security. This guy just can't take being DEAD WRONG ever......

And why not. If you were ever on that beach you would know that most days you cannot even swim more than 10 feet out without a lifeguard getting on you. And if you get drunk on the rot gut whiskey they serve in the Riu all this could easily happen..............Not to mention eating earlier at the Buffet....................
I realize your deep rooted hatred for anyone that goes against your model, but no one in this process has anything except guessing/probability until a body is confirmed or the gal appears again. I'm sure you agree with that at least.
My model. What about the four guys that drowned at the same hotel 6 weeks before? Maybe this guy is a serial killer operating out of the Riu.................
I know the beach well. Lived on it for 5 years. Very dangerous swimming. No one killed her. Unfortunately the only plausible explanation is she drowned............
That exactly happened to a friend of mine in Cabarete years ago. He told he left the beach bar at 3am drunk as a skunk and the next thing he knew he woke up face down in the sand on the beach around 7am. I don't find that impossible to believe.
Hijo just a question, are familiar with that area? From the Hard Rock all the way down to the Occidental Caribe (Riu Republic is in between) it is a wide-open beach area, no coves, nothing really. Security/workers are normally out there fairly early before sunup moving beach chairs etc... It would not surprise me at all that they went into the water, wave came, and she could not get out. Like I said maybe he thought she came out, but like you said until they find her nothing is for certain. I should add that believe it or not you can find people passed out on beach chairs. Too much drinking, they pass out, wake up in the morning when people start coming to the beach.

I can see that it is plausible. That said it sure looks like the sus went into the water with the victim (both potentially intoxicated), did something he immediately regretted and well, here we are. I, unlike others here, admit I could be wrong, but I am going with innocent people don't wait 2 days to come forward and then have 3 versions of what happened.

You want theories. How about like you said they both went in. A big wave comes and the guy manages to run out of the water leaving her to drown. Never tried to save her. Murder, no. Coward yes..................

Moments ago RIU hotel released camera and here it is. he is now in police custody.
The thing he regretted is being a coward and running without trying to save her. ...........
