Ok Thanks.
Was this to go onshore in the different ports, or was it for going at the cruise at all ?
I mean is it possible to go out on the cruise, but not be able to go onshore at every port ?
Yes... You don't even have to leave the ship at all during the entire cruise if you don't want to. Unless the cruise company requires a given visa or the like for boarding to a certain destination, the above goes into effect.
Last time I took a family cruise (argghhhhh!!!) I used the time to rest very well in my bed on the ship, while the family revisited for the (forgot how many already)*th time the little islands we made calls to.
Don't get me wrong! Cruises are very nice indeed; just that making the rounds to tiny islands you visited plenty of times before is like getting invited to sit in your own backyard as a cool place to be at...
Just make sure that you carry your credit cards with you and most of times the visa requirement will be overlooked as their economies are in the docks...
Is not like there's much to run around to if you were to jump ship...
Are the cruise offers getting cheaper or is my imagination playing tricks on me this time of the year? I could have sworn that I saw a fantastic offer for almost half of what I paid last time... To the same places as before!
