Last year we had some incredibly awesome, sweet pineapple in Samana. Little did I know the the Most Swwet Alida had future plans for the carcasses.
Seems she warpped the cut off tops in wet towels, transported them home and just stuck them in pots in soil. That's it.
7 months later we have these:
Anybody else ever try this? How did it turn out? Any tips for fertilizer, etc?
They are growing well and seem healthy.
I didn't know one could grow pineapple in pots with just the top.
We'll see how they turn out when ripe...
