I agree Terra Linda is a great place and very good restaurant. We were just there about 45 days ago for a few nights. Its close to "the action" and QUIET at night. Nice clean rooms..safe...very good and I recommend it!

Sosua Sunrise , formerly Casa Cayena Flip flop walking distance to Playa Alicia , which is a must do . and very quiet at night because no motos whizzing by, cuz its on a culdesac with the entrance of Playa Alicia at the end ..
Def meets all your requirements .. Wilfried and his staff are good people and will happily answer any questions you may have .

you definitely know what time it is , good advice....think I'm too new to give a thumbs up

can you explain? seems to be a inside joke
I'm guessing it's a good natured jab at the mostly single male traveler that frequents the hotel and is less interested in the beach and kite surfing... Which pretty much means 90 % of the town

Last time I was in Sosua I stayed at Canto del Delfin. Dominican run across from Playero. Pool and OK room. Prob best deal for 1000? pesos a night in town. Place could be nice with a few upgrades.

I didn't much care for the crappy TV that had blurry 20 year porn when I turned it on, but I did like the pool and the bed was better than most down here. If you don't speak Spanish, it might be tricky. Could use better locks on the doors. Place had a dining table, kitchenette and a half way decent shower.

I like Hotel Kaoba in Cabarete. Sosua needs a fork stuck into it.

A married British couple at Delfin? No wonder. Prob though the *cooker* was suppose to have a working pilot light.

The chicas will be happy the toilets have seats and will take the toilet paper home with them.

The really crazy thing is they didn't blow two to three million pesos on a beach bar because they "fell in love with Sosua..." I guess those days have past by..
