To all of you wondering if Aeromar Airlines is a real airline.... It is.... Thats it, they cannot purchase their own planes because our CIVIL AERONAUTICS dept. is not capable of regulating a national Airline due to the fact that the Dominican Republic is in Category 3, which allows them only to operate into the USA using a certified American or foreign carrier (not on cat 3). NOT BECAUSE THE MONEY IS NOT THERE.
Aeromar has tried everything to help the Domincian Republic get out of Cat 3, because this is one of the main reasons why no Dominican Airline has been able to compete with "the big dogs." However, Aeromar has indeed fought them off one by one, and as a result, all flights have a load factor of at least 85%.
Let me inform you all that Aeromar is being run by capable people with Tons of years of experience, and is in no position to get out of the market. They have been solidly progressing since about a year back, and they have been managing quite well. For the first time in about a decade, A dominican carrier will enjoy representing its country with routes to several airports in the Dominican Republic, Miami, San Juan and JFK, with the bright Red, Blue and White Palm tree Logo that truly represents what dominican culture is all about. WITH THEIR NEW 767er300 and 757 200. (yes, just like the 747 you guys all saw). (dont worry, EUROPE is on the way)...
For those of you who have flown with Aeromar, i salute you for trying us out... Im sure many of you have had bad experiences, but please understand that it is all about walking before running... Slowly we are progressing, and offering new things like first class, and different "elite services" which might not be new in the market, but it is for the DOMINICAN Market when it comes to a DOMINICAN carrier... I only have one thing to say.... Fly Aeromar once all this is implemented... (after may 24). Just to be sure, fly us in june, or july, and see what we are really about... With these thoughts i leave you....
