On the general question of places to stay in Sosua, though not exactly a hotel, is Condos Dominicanos still getting along? I noticed their website seems to have been seized or something. It was a nice quiet place to stay 4 or 5 years ago.

If flying from Canada I would recommend you check Casa Marina. I got 7 days all inclusive for $10 LESS than the cheapest flight I could find. Food and rooms were nothing special. The price i paid I expected a lot worse. I considered the hotel free and spent a lot of time and money out in the town.
