Let's be clear here, the keywords here are "service-connected disabilities"

I, as a veteran without a service-connected disability, have very little use for these clinics.

I have used the services of the VA Hospital in Miami on many occasions, but none of which were related to service-connected disabilities.

I suspect these local clinics are quite versed on the best way for a service-connected disability veteran to ah... "maximize" their disability checks.

Years ago, I knew many, many "disabled" veterans who abused the VA with PTSD claims and would go so far as to create disturbances in VA Clinics to help substantiate their mental "disability" and get a 100% check every month. Bragging rights.

How about you, Radical? Are you a disabled veteran? Retired with how many years of service?

I can sense his ego and self appointed superiority - I'll leave it at that, perhaps I did served as enlisted, could have been wearing an O Rank, or just didn't served at all.

Let that sink in and boil a little in that egotist self-centered head oh his.
Exactly.

And while he may imply enlisted men and women are losers, there are far too many officers whose opinions differ from his.
It's a crying shame someone feels compelled to ridicule enlisted men and women.

Don't cloud the issue. You completely manufactured a meeting with a VA component for unknown reasons. I am done here.

Doesn't take superior knowledge to know there is no VA here.

It doesn't take superior knowledge either to be an O grade - many losers in that arena as well as in the enlisted pile - they are good and bad apples everywhere regardless of rank or position.
Oh, and so you know - your self appointed superior knowledge just because you once wore an O Rank (only God, your unit, peers and subordinate could tell how good you actually were as leader), obviously doesn't allow you to yet discern the difference between VA clinics service to veterans and that of the VA FMP Program.

Don't ostracized yourself from getting something so simple to grasp, after all; you are the clever one here Mr.

And here I continue to embarrass myself with my E-Rank lower IQ and GT scores, in the event that I once might have been an enlisted or even worse, in the case I might have been an O, or fine, since I could just be a plain dude that had never served...

What checks?

You are truly sailing in unknown waters mate.

Perhaps I am retired from the military with 30 years of service, or may be not; could have been that I just done a little reading about the VA and its FMP Program, or I just happen to own one of these clinics myself, or was it that I stayed at Holiday Inn last night?

Take a pick

Punta Cana Village will soon have a clinic, as well.

There is a clinic on the works, not sure if its already open to the veterans yet but its located in the marginal rd in Boca Chica, can be seeing by the branch flags in front of the bldg painted white and blue. Can't testify of this one but is there FYI

No only that but a leader on its true representation would never feel compelled to look down on the same people that made him shine once - the best tool the boss has are always his employees - I certainly had lived my life by these principles and have shined bright like start or have flown high as an eagle, depending on the time progression of the rank structure, in the event I was ever an O, which in any way shape or form I am alluding to have ever been.

Sad indeed!

These clinics are real and they are making a fortune, they bill the US government 600 dollars for every visit and they will help you with getting a disability check or help you get more than you are getting now. I know three people that go there regularly.

  1. Find A VA Accredited Representative Or VSO | Veterans Affairs. An official website of the United States government. Here's how you know. The .gov means it's official. The site is secure. The https:// ensures that you're connecting to the official website and that any information you provide is encrypted and sent securely.

"Oh! I get it now. I'm slow, as evidenced by my dumb answer.

We all know these are not VA clinics.

But thanks for not charging me rent. The Flying Spaghetti Monster knows that I need all the breaks I can get."

So what is it??
A VA clinic or not, officially affiliated or not??
What about the others claiming to provide services to Veterans under VA program.
I've seen the office in P.P. by Clinic Bournigal

The first thing they have in their profile is "We are a small third-party clinic" so don't expect a ".gov" in any of their web presence.

Yet they are not "real" VA clinics.

If it is as you say it seems akin to fraud costing taxpayers and .gov a lot of money.
Taking away from veterans who have served and need and deserve help.

Up to .gov to put a stop to it and limit how foreign services are administered.

The way to stop it is to have services only in the USA, and to send checks to eligible recipients in foreign countries, like pensions.
Obviously US service and payment control is needed to prevent fraud.

I think we all know these are not official VA facilities, but they participate in the FMP, in order to help veterans with service-connected disability issues.
When I spoke to the folks in the Bávaro and Boca Chica clinics, they confirmed this.
However, I intend to visit the new facility soon to open in PC Village prior to moving back home in August.

As far as I know, the only official VA clinic in a foreign country is located on U.S. Embassy property in the Philippines.

As we used to say, don't call me Sir, my parents were married. I was a Warrant Office in the Canadian Air Force, but in general the same rules apply. I have Blue Cross and another Medical insurance that reimburse me for medical services and medications., but there isn't enough of us expat Canadian Vets to get special services like ualls.

again, you have spoken to "staff members" at these clinics. What pray tell were their areas of expertise? Since you are advocating for this place can you report on their services.
