Argentina Takes A Shot With Russia's Sputnik Vaccine
The nation has been hard hit by the pandemic. The president vowed to start a vaccination campaign by the end of 2020. That did happen — but not exactly as they'd hoped.www.npr.org
As more countries join in:
Actually, the title of the article is a bit misleading.
Argentina had to resort to Sputnik V 🚀 because the administration dropped the ball on several other offerings that were considered to be more advanced in clinical studies. It was not their first, nor second choice.
Sadly, Argentina has been a mess for a very long time, and it's not just the economy any longer.
Has Argentina declared how many people they vaccinated and the results so far?Because, because, because...
Reality!
Proven to work and safe!
Reality!

I wish I could say the same. In my hood the curfew is just an excuse to gather in your yard crank up the music and yell as loud as you can to be heard over the music. Music started at 08:30 this morning (Sunday) and continues. Not as loud as on other occasions but loud enough to be heard as background noise.Just like most folks, I am no fan of the lockdowns but I sure am enjoying the quiet nights.
And of course authorities know this, but they will just ignore these doctors as the reasons behind these lockdowns are far bigger than protecting the health and more political than medical.Science regarding lack of effectiveness of lock downs.

I find that "most" Dominicans don't need loud music to speak much louder than necessary. They can be a foot apart from each other and still feel the need to speak at a level that could be heard a block away.I wish I could say the same. Mods should refrain from posting "opinion pieces" since they're unwilling to be challenged. They certainly should not be posting and promoting BS, anti-science/mask/vaccine nonsense, questioning things they are not capable of understanding and liking similar crap from others. To be fair you're not the only one but the best modes are neutral or don't post at all except to be mods
Did you have a good weekend? Mine was most excellent! (Thanks for asking LOL)![]()
