Good clean over of your living place with cloro should have been done......like forever........
I guess getting people to do that--- supposing they didn't before, though kind of hard to believe----- is a positive outcome of covid19.

I get allergy on and off all-year-round. Very early on in the Covid crisis, I was all too aware that people were looking at me shiftily in public places.

Yeah, I gave a couple of people's earth attack. I am proudly contributing to the death tolls.

You and me both. Reminds me of a meme I saw. Something to the effect that it’s a shame Covid hit during allergy season, because now I’m not sure if I have 5 days to live or just need a Claritin.
Imagine my predicament with the COVID-19, once a year I get my allergic bronchitis attack where I cough excessively, constantly.
Just now got over it, but was coughing almost non-stop for a month and a half.

I had to fill my mouth with strong cough suppressors in order to do the shopping for my family of 8 here.

Scared the "hell" out of me, worrying if I coughed around the other shoppers.
No telling how they would have reacted.

I used to get something like that.. took Atarax and seemed to help. I never had any tests, I guess my doc went on a whim

lol.
Ain't that the truth.
I can go days without so much as the hint of a cough.
But I make a brief pit stop at my local Super C (bon, beau, pas cher) and I inevitably get that tickle in my throat. I feel the need to cough and the more I resist the greater the need.
So...
I cough discreetly (into my elbow) and watch the people scatter.
Sigh.
It's a whole new world out there.

You have been in DR too long, outside of it, people are not infatuated with bleach at much (except for bathrooms).

I have been getting this allergy attack every year for at least 50 years.
Many times doctors have given me x-rays, never showed any problems.

Many, many years ago there was a medication I took that stopped it in ONE day, they stopped making it.
One pharmacist even tried to duplicate it for me, but it did not work.

New CV-19 "hospital" in Cabarete:

Here is the "hotel" you don't want to check in:

The irony of it all. All the Cab folks are bitching and moaning about bringing sick people here! Do they realize they're prob more people walking around positive infecting others than 100 times the capacity of that little hotel.

What these "gringos with rights" missed, is that they are not in Florida. It's amazing that they still don't get that under the national emergency, both the military and PN have "extraordinary" powers to intercede basically in any situation they can say has to do with the virus. Whether the gringos with rights agree or not. The cop was "rude" to him lol. Please get on your ferry flight!

Well I exercise with my mask on. Though if I do errands (shopping, banks, etc.) where I know I will be around people for more than 30 seconds, I wear N95 mask (which then goes through multi step desinfection procedure). When I just go for a walk, exercise or quick pickup of something (basially no human contact) I wear surgical mask. Today I left for a walk ... without mask.. half a block from home I felt strange and realized I was missing the mask. There I went back to put it on. Guess one gets used to it after all.

You don't seem like the type to be out there doing and saying stupid $hit. Btw where does one get a good mask like that. Im using the 70 peso colmado special with a paper towel stuffed inside

My reply was in regards to a comment that said who was doing jogging/exercise with a mask on.

My N95s were bought off eBay well early on (early March) bought 20 for 40 dollars. I also bought locally some surgical masks at 25 pesos when they were still cheap. They all go through a cleaning process involving hydrogen peroxide, UV-C light, sun, and staying put for 5 days in a breathable paper bag or paper box.

There are still N95 masks being sold on eBay for about 5 dollars apiece, still cheaper than local price here.

P.S. the mask is only part of the equation, I wash hands very frequently when out and about, on every single opportunity there is a water & soup or sanitizer. Plus complete cleaning protocol when I get home. And of course keeping my distance and requesting others to keep distance from me.
