Our watchman from the school is currently in the hospital (private clinic) in La Vega with Coronavirus. He is on Oxygen plus meds, 69 year old. Ironically he got the infection while at the hospital for another condition. His wife also has it but she is much younger and has very mild symptoms. He is not overweight and has a strong heart so hopefully he will survive.
Was he working when he became ill?

The J&J vaccine may work well with only one dose and just needs normal refrigeration since it is based upon traditional vaccine creation methods.
PICHARDO might even like it:

Johnson and Johnson vaccine produced strong immune response, early results say

Early results from a Phase 1/2a clinical trial shows it was well tolerated and even one dose appeared to produce a strong immune response in almost all of the 800 participants.

The media calls it a potential game changer in the fight against CV19... Will the DR use it? No special refrigeration needed and one dose make it a strong contender. PICHARDO might even like it. 100 million doses are in the queue awaiting approval after they announce stage 3 results.

J&J will be in the market not earlier than first quarter 2022...

Most countries will see vaccines for their entire population by 2023.

What they’re doing is sending some token jabs to keep people from rioting and raising hell against those big economies that pre-ordered most of the production for this year.

Let me say it again:

There’s NOT enough installed manufacturing capacity at the moment to produce the quantity of vaccines needed.

We don’t need to worry so much about covid!
A meteorite is on its way to Earth and there’s nothing we can do to stop it or even try to alter its trajectory.

So cheers to 2021!!!

The asteroid known as 65717 (1993 BX3) on its way here...

I will not pay any bills until next month!
LOL 😂
Close, but no cigar.

  • Johnson & Johnson is expected to deliver preliminary late-stage trial results for its one-dose Covid vaccine candidate by the end of January.
  • If its jab is proven to be safe and effective, the company aims to deliver at least 1 billion doses by the end of the year.
Why is the DR not on this? It is a regular storage requirements vaccine (not from Russia) well before PICHARDO thinks it will be available - like a year before.

It's not just deaths. Even if it was that's still far to many people to just accept and let die. But it's not. Many people have lingering and debilitating issues post covid that not only make their lives hell but further tie up already taxed hospitals and medical systems.

How cynical and coldblooded does one have to be to not care about all the deaths and others left suffering after covid?
do you care about obese people who have abused their bodies by consuming massive amounts of donuts, cheese burgers, smoking and drinking until they have diabetes and hardened arteries ?

Its been tried.
Just opening up business with out methods to stop the spread of virus does not work.
Case numbers go through the roof.
Sweden tried it and failed miserably.

Refusing the vaccine is a very generous decision so that one more person who wants the vaccine will take your place in line.
Thanks is not needed?
Anyone offer you the vaccine ?

helping each other is a good thing.
Dominicans have a good reputation for helping .
Let's just say I'm not convinced (when it comes to death rate NOT cases) https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.11.11.20229708v1

"Dominicans have a good reputation for helping ."Obviously there are good and bad people in every country on the planet but please don't go too far with that. It was a Dominican that told me years ago that if I got in a car accident and God forbid was unconscious to not expect to have my wallet, shoes, belt etc etc when I woke up. I remember when the helicopter pilot a few years back had a crash landing, I believe in S.D. este. There were 2 guys on either side helping him walk, unfortunately for one the video caught him lifting the pilots wallet in the process. The next video was of him being arrested.

Interesting that the "very nice lady" saw the death certificate.

We know the stats to the point of boredom about death percentage.

Those are the stats but the numbers are staggering.
Estimated around two million deaths .

That takes a whole lot of doctors lying for some reason on deaths certificates so there are more deaths for some reason. Maybe it is not two million but with lying is only one million nine hundred thousand?
I never said that NO ONE died from Covid just that I believe the numbers to be inflated. I would love to see stats for the D.R. comparing deaths from Gripe, Chickgua, Dengue etc for the last 5 years. Something tells me that all others would be down.
Here is a graph of deaths with % in the U.S. wow, look at that increase NOT from 2018 - 2020.
https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/USA/united-states/death-rate Now, I do realize that there are conflicting reports but i do not trust the CDC, whose "partners" include Big Pharma and Insurance companies.
People die every day, it is one sure thing about life, even more than taxes.

I would say one would have to be VERY coldblooded not to care. On the other hand I personally care about the dead and suffering from all causes. I also care about all the suffering and mental depression from those who are unable to put food on the table for their families because of the draconian shut downs, which are soooo hypocritical. I was at a tourist beach a quite a few days over the last week and it was life as usual, almost no masks, including 50% of the cops patrolling, eating and drinking at tables the same as usual.
Maybe if you depended on a weekly salary (low as they are for Dominicans) to feed your family you would think differently. AND if the low death rate continues for another 2 years, would you still support these mesures? locking hundreds of thousands in small confined spaces until they pay their fine or serve their time and then release then to the population. Maybe if you had to use a concho stuffed with 4 or 5 other people (still a daily occurrence? to earn enough for your family to eat for the day you would back off the social distancing a bit? Would you? If that was the only way to feed your family AND you didn't know ONE person that died of Covid - BTW, I only asked 2 people today if they personally knew anyone who died of it and they both said no, so it stands at only 3 people with the affirmative answer after 2 plus months of daily asking people,.
