You are being quoted exactly where? There are no quotes, the prices are on the website linked above, period:Can someone please tell me true cost of getting a Dominican passport as website says 1650 peso but I am being quoted 2000US $
This is the actual passport fee. I fail to understand who is quoting you what as you also did not detail that, as you simply go to Banreservas, say that you want to pay for a new passport to the clerk and they charge you accordingly. There is no negotiation or quoting involved. You pay a fee to the bank, period. With the receipt you go to your appointment. What is meant by '

The regular passport fee, including the photo, is $1,950. Now you have to pay it online at the moment of making the appointment. You can either pay with a credit card or use the number of the receipt from Banreservas. Fees goes up if you want another passport category like the ¨VIP¨ one, or if you do your application online so you can just show up to pick up the passport. Also there´s the ten year passport instead of the 6 year one.Can someone please tell me true cost of getting a Dominican passport as website says 1650 peso but I am being quoted 2000US $
