I love them too, but not in DR. I have been known to pack a couple of 6 pound packages of frozen Sam’s Angus or Sirloin burgers though. I like mine rare, I don’t trust the meat there rare. Oh, the looks I’ve gotten in restaurants there over the years when I ask for rare steak.Burgers are my favorite. Of anything fine or ordinary i have access to, I'll take a burger anyday.
Most Nacional and def Pricesmart have Angus patties. Some brands are better. There are hacks too. I got two Angus ribeyes in Cabarete and grinded them (of course has to be almost frozen). Best burger ever. Nice hot sear each side cool bloody red center!I love them too, but not in DR. "Bacon taste good...pok chop taste good". -Pulp FictionIf it wasn't for burgers, I'd be a vegetarian.
Oh, yeah, pork chops, too.
And ribeye, baby back ribs...
No no they say "termino rojo".Same here.
I've been asked, "You mean you want it with blood?"
Ha! Here in USA I’ve been known to answer “it’s okay if it’s moo-ing”. Prime rib is “rarest one you have in the kitchen”.Same here.

When you eat burger at Peter Luger's in Brooklyn it's part ribeye, short rib and brisket, so yesssss mam!!!I’ve never been in Pricesmart but I’ll check Nacional.
Grind an Angus rib eye? Sacrilege!
That's right. But some folks do give you the look of which AE talked about. No no they say "termino rojo".
Of.course because a Dominican has to blast furnace everything unless you're at a fine dining establishment. That's right. But some folks do give you the look of which AE talked about.
have to agree with the odor of tuna and then there is the avoid mercury issue. This is deserving of a "Like," but then you included the dreaded 'T' word.
Three things I DON'T eat: Hierro... por duro, caca... por blandita, y tuna... for its appearance, taste, and fetid and foul odor...
For years I thought I liked steak well done.Ha! Here in USA I’ve been known to answer “it’s okay if it’s moo-ing”. Prime rib is “rarest one you have in the kitchen”.
My partner-in-crime's favorite food is tuna, but I DISLIKE it with capital letters.have to agree with the odor of tuna and then there is the avoid mercury issue.
Interesting the way food odors work.
I took a short lived plunge into the chicken business here partly based on a cousins supposed expertise and my wife wanting to help him out.
Before this dumb idea I did not notice that chickens have a distinctive strong smell.
Always though smells did not bother me but exposure to the flocks of chickens caused me to be sensitized to the smell.
Since then I am put off by the odor to the extent that making scrambled eggs exposes me to the smell and makes me lose my appetite.
Living with Dominicans means there is a constant frying of eggs in large amounts of oil so its the smell and lots of smoke.
Somehow the family cannot learn to cover the frying eggs so the grease goes everywhere and from time to time catches on fire.
Gave up on teaching the kids so I lowered the deductible on my fire insurance and hung a fire extinguisher on the wall.
Had to disconnect the fire alarm in the kitchen because it went off all the time.
Found the easiest solution is leave the moment they reach for the gallon can of cooking oil
And I have discovered that canned white meat chicken breast has almost zero chicken odor.
Don’t get me started on what they do to fried eggs.Of.course because a Dominican has to blast furnace everything unless you're at a fine dining establishment.
I found this burger very tasty from Chef Pepper Bella Vista:When you eat burger at Peter Luger's in Brooklyn it's part ribeye, short rib and brisket, so yesssss mam!!!
