the beach House will stay as the once in a while weekend/week Beach pleasure with a Boat mooring at the Pier.
to be a Guide, welcme people on daily bases, answer the same questions on daily bases, heck, that's something that get's boring after 15 years, doesn't matter how nice the surroundings, they would be nicer without the many visitors, lol.

Mike I'm sure you are doing good in PC, if one day I move back to DR for sure PC will be my destination. I will try to become a member of PUJ taxi union in the beginning.
I know I can do pretty good over there, I did it working at STI where only 5% of the DR visitors lands.

such is of course doable, everywhere, including PC.
who has the Will to work and move his Azz will always find his/her niche where the needed money can be made.
I started myself small and after 2 years I failed completely, learned about the right "friends" the hard way and found my way to simply go finally My way, alone and happy, lol.
alone means no more business partners,
I live here with wife and often changing numbers of kids of all ages,
heck, I sometimes have a hard time to keep Track where they all are coming from, each, lol.

That is a nice picture!! thanks for posting this as it reminds me my grandmother...
I remember I had to go many times to the farmer market in Santiago to buy black tobacco for her.

That women was 83 in 2000 and she grew her own coffee beans and roasted them, I think I also got that pic will look for it.
