And this is news. Why? Why not a thread " Dominican Republic's nationals make up the largest group of illegal residents deported from New York jails ".

Good to see the hotel and sex workers are now considered legal residents of Dutch St Maarten..................

Looks like the well-established Dominican Watchdog hate group has has an increasingly strong foothold on this website. However, I could be wrong. I mean, everyone is entitled to be a low blow cheap shot artist.

One of the things I like about Pichardo is that he doesn't dwell on negative things about the DR.

Some are always trying to shut him up because they can't stand progress in either the DR or its people. :chinese:

That is true. Some would call it a "head in the sand" approach. For example he would not mention this factoid about Dominicans in the United States:

The highest rate of welfare recipients come from the Dominican Republic (82%), Mexico and Guatemala (75%) and Ecuador (70%), according to the report, which says welfare use tends to be high for both new arrivals and established residents.

?Fant?stico! ? Most all illegals are receiving food stamps and every welfare program there is | Quite Normal

It's called "milking" the system that taxes you...

Something even Americans by large numbers (close to 50 million) are now doing at will...

Dominicans under-report their taxes in the U.S. just as they do in the DR...

Dominicans avoid as best they can to pay taxes on all ways possible, just as they do in the DR...

If they offer foodstamps and aid for free you take it and milk it as much as possible...

That's the DR culture...

Love it or hate it...

Free speech indeed. I find it quite interesting that there are so many legal Dominican's there, and good on them! If they have suceeded on finding a better life over there, well, hey, Bravo. So many people talk about the illegal Dominicans that are in numerous countries around the world but hang on a minute, how many members of DR1 that live here in the DR have expired or even no residency cards and cedulas? News for you peeps, if you are one of them then guess what, YOU are an illegal immigrant! One might argue that it is difficult or complicated, some might say it is expensive, but rules are rules, (the new rules are a little far fetched I know), but at the end of the day, no residency card then you are illegal.
