New riders try to "Steer" the bike with their hands, can't be done!
You soon learn to steer by leaning your body in the direction you want to go.
I had a "Chopper",..."Back-In-The-Day"!
The ONLY way to steer it was by "Leaning".

Actually, the lean is induced by countersteering, not with body English...

In fact above a certain speed (dependent on the rake of the fork), if a noob rider wants to turn, say, right...ad turns the handlebars to that direction...he will go in the exact opposite direction.
