Are you familiar with Maimon? It is just west of Puerto Plata by 12 or 15 miles on the main road to Santiago. The whole town is dedicated to sea food restaurants and guys wandering thru selling stull. Let's try that for next time if not too far for you. About 2 weeks in the future? My car gets fixed manana.
