I felt and heard it in Jarabacoa.

It felt like a dump truck rolled into the house, with a sound similar to when a hydro transformer blows... although we didn't loose power.

This morning at 6:10 en about 6:15 I felt it here in Bavaro (like a big mining truck passing by)
Supposedly a 5.2 south of Saona.

Bavaro, felt same. It happened about 27 km SSE of Boca de Yuma, a 5.0

It must be said that much of what has been posted here is about the earthquake in Haiti, not as the title suggest "Earthquakes in the DR." There is no Haiti forum here, so the off topic posts is understandable.

Earthquakes from Puerto Rico are also felt in the DR, so I guess posts about the effect these earthquakes have over there can be posted here too.
