Edenorte is a disaster

Yes it's a joke, but no electricity Thursday from 12 pm onward (they say until 6pm, but everyone knows that's not accurate)

Well it's 8:19 and they haven't got the power back All of Sosua from Los Castillos to who knows how far East has been over 8 hours without power.
The entire Edenorte management should be sacked.
And even if they get this big 'upgrade' completed nothing else will change.
The daily outages will continue

I went to Sosua today and there were two places a little east of Playero where Edenorte truck were working putting up new high voltage power lines.

Hmm.. there was no power outtage yesterday in Los Castillos. And the power came back on around 7:30 PM yesterday in Caribe Campo.

Edenorte were updating the equipment the sub station in front of the Sigma factory yesterday. They reported that they were adding new equipment so that the station could handle all the new construction in the area. It went on longer than expected, as is usually the case here, but hopefully with this work completed the power in Sosua will improve...yeah yeah, wishful thinking, right?!!!

Wednesday at the Smart Fit in San Isidro, while on the treadmill I saw a commercial for EDENorte. Very slick, very professional looking. I guess if you can't supply electricity, you can look good not doing it.
