I have been living and working in the DR for a while. I am married to a Dominican Lady. I did have a work visa
which was provided by my employer. However, this ran out several years ago and was never replaced.
I have been looking into applying for my residency.
I have been told that I now have to go back to the UK and get a temporary residency permit. The Dominican
Consulate in the UK have said that i can not send all documents by post as the temporary residency permit needs to be stamped at a port/airport of entry at the Dominican Republic.
Does anyone know of an other way i can do this without returning to the UK?
Many thanks
Rick
