Why does this discussion have to be preceded by discussions of other laws? They are independent issues.

That said, I never expected good enforcement of the vax card requirement and there isn't.
This is indeed a serious issue for Coco Loco.

You are Dominican and complaining like a Dominican.
About issues and conditions that will never be changed,
Because you are Dominicans and thinking like Dominicans.

Most things are done half assed, if even that.
A change of mentality, good education, efficiency, reliability and professionalism will not happen in our lifetimes.
The few good people are dragged down by the overwhelming mediocrity (if that) of the masses.
Enjoy your citizenship, you are part of the club.

Windy has been a victim of a fake cedula.....

where is that on your totem pole of infractions?
Back in the day when fraud was more rampant at Migracion, the lawyer I used missed a document, which I had to provide many years later. The lawyer most likely simply paid someone off in the back office and I had and renewed residency for many years until I had to come up with a new "legalized" birth certificate from the USA to replace that "missing" one.

It was my first driver's license that was not real at all, by the way. Despite being issued at the correct office, it just was not in the system.

All the above taken care of as soon as I learned of the issues. Monday I picked up my Dominican Passport . Why? Just to have it.

But this is about fake vax cards. I think the government will be heavy on that alone, let alone faked test results for international travel.
Could Coco face extradition to a foreign government over that?

And here I thought I had not adapted. :ROFLMAO: By the way. Please show me a post where I am complaining. I invite you to do that. I am not expressing my opinion about falsified documents. Because I point out what happened or what the government might want or do, that is complaining? I think not.

Of that, I am well aware. 😒

Thank you. The primary reason I got citizenship is because it prevents some trips to Santo Domingo. :sneaky:

Everybody going on about Coco...

SHUT UP about US.

She's French.

DR & La Belle France allow extradition. I am so sorry for my friend; I don't know what she was thinking.

True, she's French but she may have falsified vaccine test cards for those entering the USA (and perhaps Canada). That was the reason for my comment about potential extradition. As you can see, that could be reason for a foreign citizen being extradited to the US, so there is no reason to shut up about your stupid friend.

Good luck to her proving an illegal operation was going on in her business and she wasn't aware of it. We should hear of another arrest soon if that is the case.

It may be that am employee was doing this - she might have been unaware

Doesn't really affect her problem .... but
When Balaguer was in power some people went "missing." Most likely he learn about each case at the same time as the rest of the country. The tiny itty bitty difference is that the fault felt squarely on him for being the president.

It doesn't matter if it was an employee on his own or in collusion with the owner, she owns the place and it was done while the place was open for business. In that case, I think responsibility falls on her for the simple reason she's the owner.

that's why I finished with

Doesn't really affect her problem .... but

She has been slandered a bit here..... unjustly perhaps

I agree - she'll need to face the music either way.....even if she's collateral damage

No need to falsify the flu card...

It is unnecessary until you go someplace where is is necessary....................
