Geez, so many people without a clue.....Big Frank, Owner/Operator.....Little Frank, Son of Big Frank, currently not in the country.....Frank Genao, aka Frank12, not related to either Big or Little Frank, but manager for Big Frank.....
Hope this helps....

I assume the polite "people without a clue" refers to me. (If the cap fits...!) But before we start throwing insults around, actually the Little Frank I'm referring to is definitely NOT Big Frank's son and is definitely currently in the DR. So it seems there are FOUR Franks in the picture! However, Frank12 is also currently out of the country.

I hope the image comes out right. I posted this for those in Sosua. New offerings for a long Happy Hour.

Ah, finally we have peso prices, non of that non-sense US$ pricing - well, at least for the Happy Hour... !

I stopped in to say hi to Big Frank, enjoyable as always, only thing missing is Frank12.
So I order one Barcelo/Ice in Spanish and the next one in English. They tasted the same and the price was similar. Just not a big deal.

I went in for lunch last week. It was busy, so I sat at the bar with a friend of mine. Ordering was strange. The waitress
handed me the menu along with a pencil and told me to circle what I wanted. I ordered the cheese steak with fried onions and mushrooms. 10 minutes later out came the sub in a brown paper bag. Again, weird way to serve it. It was the best freaken sandwich I've eaten since I can remember. The steak melted in my mouth and they weren't cheap with the fixens. I wish I could afford one each day. My bill was 650 pesos for the sub and a coke. Not cheap, but worth it. Another weird thing that I noticed was that they don't use the small napkins. They use the rolls of napkins which are much thicker, but expensive. The washrooms were super clean.

I now think that the ordering method is kind of cool as it's different and unique to the north coast. I'll be going back next week.

650 peso Price does not scare us, especially on vacation
.. Make a NICE SANDWICH or Cheese Steak, and WE WILL COME
... Nice review Seamonkey .. I can always trust your honest reviews ..

I don't mind paying for quality but 650 RD for a sandwich and a coke is damned pricey. I do wish Big Frank luck and hopefully I will get a chance to try the 650 RD sandwich / coke deal when I get back to Sosua.
