Dv8 I am 38 and I think the truth is I came to the DR too soon this place is good for men in there 60ts yes thy can get a lot of dates but not me I gess I must wate anouther 20+ years to be able to enjoy what the rest of you are enjoying today.

I used to go out, anywhere really mostly around downtown SD, workup a conversation with a lady, sometimes whoever sat along side or at the next table, and would eventually invite them over so I could cook for them, I ain't no chef by any stretch, and you know what I was never ever turned down.
First date a late night whip up something to eat and then shenanigans, Later after one wanted to keep dating and move in, I changed the MO to cabanas and left the house as a sanctuary, until my present day wife moved in.....

thank you, that's exactly what i meant. from what you write you seem to long for a relationship rather than poking crotch flowers. you'll be better off with a woman who is older and had more chances to mature.
i know a dominican girl, she must be nearly 30 now. had a child very early, at 16-17. left her with the parents and went to a bigger city. works her ass off to provide for her daughter and to better herself in life. she has a decent job, speaks very good english, got a degree in accounting. very beautiful and smart. from stupid campo girl to a smart woman.
she is now a much better material for a wife, partner and lover than when she was 20. and that's what i am talking about. some dominicanas never grow. but many just need a chance and they will run forward as fast as they can.

I have a strict policy in the DR. Everything is 50-50, after the inital courtship. No matter what you do, you have to pay for the poonanny. The trick is to understand when your investment will pay back and when its a lost cause.
If the girls asks you for money, especially salon/hair/nail money, close that door immediately. If she asks for money for ANYTHING, run. I know, I know, but "they all ask for money". No, just the sorry dominican girls ask for money. Stand your ground, either way you're not getting any. Its better to not get any and have a full wallet than an empty wallet and no poonanny.

Most important thing, dont lose hope, there are plenty of girls and you'll eventually like one that likes you for you. Shoot, even then, be careful. Even when they like you, they'll take advantage of you if you allow it. In other words, quit being a push over cause youre lonely. Well people I am happy that you found what you wanted here I do bleave it is possable I see you guys with your girls in the malls and food stors and you look very happy. It just is not happning for me. Tamborista yes 24 year old med student from HB's collige would be a dream come true and $100 some times would be a lot less then what I am getting played for now.
