I used to see a lot of "Flor de Mayo" Shipping (Mayflower in Spanish!!!) :p

And Montero does door to door I am pretty sure. Believe me Dominicans know how to move inexpensively!!

That's a customs issue, not a shipper issue. Customs folks open every single box and package on a household shipment.

Yes, recently my boxes have been opened but everything is intact.

More importantly, no duty or taxes were charged..... even with the inspection.

Thats what i like about the mudanza approach...... it just arrives with no hassle.

If I recall... a barrel is about $135 to ship ..NYC to Cabrera.... and that includes the barrel.

We looked into Rosa del Monte in Philly too.... everyone we talked to who had used them strongly encouraged us to stay away from them. One woman was still waiting for her shipment to arrive in DR three months after she gave it to them. Others swear their boxes were rifled through and things were missing.

I don't know if it's just the Philly office that has these issues.

We'll stick with Embarque Bella Vista, they pick up in South Jersey and everything arrives in 3-4 weeks.

Is that door to door?
