I'm surprised that nobody asked me how I knew this guy was an E-4.

Alright, if you must insist, tell us big sister (instead of big brother). Just kidding. This guy came from the hills of Puerto Rico to the hills of DR. He is a campesino who probably did not know how to read and write, marries a Dominican campesina in the same situation. All he knows is country life and how to write an X. Believe it or not around and after the vietnam war a bunch of service men were/are illiterate.

I think that this guy was running away from something

He probably killed somebody in PR and probably was told to come to DR untill things mellow out....

I am very sure that his family were the ones that convinced him to come hide in the DR until everything cools off.

The PR authorities should do a very deep background check on this guy and it would not surprise me a bit if he is not involved with something criminal in Puerto Rico.

It is time to check the COLD CASE FILES back 11 years.
