ooh this is weird just checked the FC site for room availability and they are showing that they have a royal suite room, someone must have cancelled/downgraded as when i upgraded the other week i took the last one!

Help, forgot to ask one every important question from my mate, The royal suites, Am I right in thinking that there are iron & ironing boards in the suites, Hope some one can help with this question, what a time to ask me when we only have 6 sleeps to go, see you all there on the 10, Brijohn :bunny::bunny:

just got back yesterday..so a little jet lagged .
Brijohn, yes they have iron & boards in rooms.
dont worry peeps the resort is fine..i'd say its hit and miss with tummy bugs
wife and youngest had a bout but myself and eldest was untouched..and we ate the same food.
weather was very hot..even at 8.30 in the morning..did get thunder storms most afternoons and evenings.
anyone got questions to ask?
tip #1 get in early for ala carte reservations they go quickly
tip #2 despite nor germans..the sun loungers get towels on them suprislingly early
oh and for the ones who have been already.
I thought Keiran was funny.
and Margot Mainframe was strangly arousing!

Just Got Back Yesterday
Hi, I got back from HVGB yesterday n I had a brilliant time. I stayed in the royal suites n I am so glad I paid the extra money it is well worth it. You get the following things extra:
-adult only & royal suite only pool which i quiet, comfy, plenty of sunbeds, swim up bar with miguel the bar man who is brilliant
-Free internet access
-Seperate eating area whith fresh fruit, sandwiches all day
-Priority booking at ala carte so you dont need to get up at 7.30 like other people.
-Alot bigger & better rooms with softer towels, bathrobes etc
I loved everything & i was up on the stage most nights with my girlfriend. If anyone was there I did the strictly come dancing thing with the rave n birdy song.
The 24 hr bar (aquanox) is brilliant at 11 becoz steve welsh does the karaoke for 2 hours which my girlfriend did paradise by the dIashboard lights everynight.
I was not sick once, had the runs once but tooks some tablets n was fine.
The weather was brilliant & i was glad for the rain in the evening because it was really hot.
If anyone goes they must get miguel to do his sexy thing dance, it is brill
I wish i was going back soon

I was there..you was on first right?, thought you was the best..but think third won because the family of Francesca (girl with big'uns) who was second whos family cheered loudest..and crown cheered louder for third couple to steal Frannuy's limelight..as she sure liked the limelight!
yea that was me n i know what you mean about her loving the limelight but fair play to her for getting up singing in that holiday stars, she wasnt the best at all but i couldnt have done it. glad u had a good time.
just returned from hvgb
had a wonderful time food ok in main buffet (check that carved meat is cooked properly) mexican italian and oriental were very good. wave pool excellent but beware very slippery we witnessed cut heads and grazed knees if you have young make them wear shoes in the water. main pool smaller than expected plenty of loungers for everyone. beach was lovely and plenty of beds and never crowded. very slow service for drinks in the main buffet and very large queues at the main bar staff try very hard and are very friendly. adult only bar really nice. None of our party of 4 suffered any stomach complaints but i did make sure all the food was cooked properly and we used first defence foam on our hands before every meal dont know if this helped but there was alot of people experiencing problems.there was alot of children having to go to the medical centre with ear infections? all in all this place has many issues that certainly let it down being a four star more like a 3. we had a fantastic time and wish we were still there.

Hi just joined the forum, but been following for a while now. We're going mid july, just a quick question for those of you who already been or maybe Planner would know. What is the dress code for men in the evening for eating, are long trousers required or are cut offs ok? Thanks for any answers.
i didnt take any long trousers, i think i wore jeans once out of 14 days. Aslong as you were dry shorts/trousers & a t-shirt then everything should be fine.
