4 days to go now yay!
How much do you generally tip in this hotel/other all inclusives? Like to the maids, waiters, person who takes your cases etc?

The airport is the worse bit all that waiting around when all you want is to get going, never mind soon be there, I'll be the white one in desperate need of a tan. :cheeky:

No it is not. For the most part our weather is now typical for this time of year. We start with sun and heat and by late afternoon clouds roll in. We get some rain in the evenings and the temperature is cooling off somewhat. We do have short bursts of heavy rain but not anything near torrential and certainly not all day or every day.

Check the Puerto Plata weather report for daily updates.

I am going to book my holiday tomorrow.... I am so excited.. Just a few questions before I do..

In the standard rooms with 2 queen beds.. Is there a sofa in that room as well? Just wondering if I will be sleeping beside my daughter (kicking me for 2 weeks LOL)

I know at some resorts you can upgrade your room once you get there has anyone done that? if so what was the cost diff?

Any suggestions to what rooms are better?? It is prob better to be close to the pool etc for the kids.

thanks
