no HB,
I have to disagree.
as seen on Central Atlantic - Water Vapor Loop (Flash) - Satellite Services Division/Office of Satellite Data Processing and Distribution
the system, which been stationary for 2 days in a row, is since yesterday moving EWest/Northwestwards, not towards the East.
what was a couple of days ago located south/southeast of jamaica is now located SW of the Cayman Islands, much more west than 2 days ago.
what makes it on the Sat shots appear to be easterly is the fact that almost all rain of the Low Pressure System is located on it's Eastern Side now, due Dry Air and unfavorable conditions on it's Western Side, but the movement of all together is westerly and NWesterly.
and it moves very slow, almost standing still, hence it bothers for longer than such sytem usually does for a specific Area.
here on the East Shore it looked this morning as if it would be over, Sun been out early on, but then we got the clouds in again this afternoon, since thios evening the rain is on agaion in Cabeza de Toro, in Bavaro it was even raining this early afternoon while we've been Dry and sunny here.
it will not develop into a Storm IMHO,
even that the watertemps are far above the average to favor such, but the Time with low windshear is over, it will raise during tonight, it didn;t develop during the Time period with the best conditions, so it will not edevlop at all, but it will be present as a bothering Rainload for at least 2 more days, and that could even be longer than 2.
