So, this might not be a big deal for some of you but considering I had only purchased a rod 5 hours before hand and then sat on the Malecon at Miramar and within 35seconds felt myself getting pulled into the water it was quite a buzz.
Anyway, the first couple must have been big as they snapped my line, I grew some sabe and decided to wait until he was tired, pulling in a bit at a time rather than pulling as hard as I could. I got the thing under me, baring in mind I was 20' up on a reef and then he pi$$ed off. I did see him and he was about 2' long greyishy belly and spotty brown on his back. Any idea what he could have been?
I feel I might be slightly addicted to this game as it gave me a good adrenaline kick, but it might have been better to actually catch it so it was in my belly than see it and have pi$$ed the both of us off for nothing.
Anyone any tips on fishing off the miramar for these little (I presume) sharks?
Apart from don't eat coastal sharks around Santo Domingo/
